Harvest in the Wrap Up Stage
Roland, IA – November, 29, 2008

It has now been sixty-nine days since Story City took it's first loads of new beans back on September 22nd. The harvest is currently in it's wrap-up stage, as most locations have had corn delivery amounts  dropping off in recent days. Fertilizer, tillage work, and NH3 are now the focus for many producers as we hope for a little more good weather before the ground freezes up.

Time to Consider Diesel Treatment
S-14 Location, Roland, IA – November, 12, 2008

With the holiday season getting closer, and considering the recent weather pattern, it may be time to get your diesel tractors, trucks, and fuel barrels prepared in case of an unexpected cold snap. The normal Cenex Ruby FieldMaster that we deliver with our refined fuel trucks should be good down to around 15 degrees F. To be prepared, you may want to pick up some Power Service Diesel Treatment at one of our locations that you can dump in the fuel tanks in case we get cold weather before you get winter blended fuel into your system. Remember, it needs to get mixed into the fuel before the cold weather hits to be effective. Then as winter sets in later this year, you can have your refined fuel driver mix number #1 fuel into your farm storage tanks on your next fill up as needed. Power Service Diesel Treatment comes in 32 oz. bottels that treat 100 gallon of fuel, and new this year is an 80 oz. bottle that treats 250 gallon of fuel.
